Health
World Vision BiH helps bring medical care and increased knowledge of health, nutrition, and hygiene to children and families in the country through various interventions.
Economic Development
World Vision BiH implemented various economical development activities through a variety of projects. In 2010 only, more than 400 beneficiaries were supported enhancing their agriculture, crafts, services and other income generating capacities.
Sponsorship
Child sponsorship is a way of raising long term support for children whilst providing a rich and rewarding experience to donors. Also, child sponsorship is a partnership between individuals who want to meet the needs of children and their communities.
Faith and Development
We recognize that values cannot be legislated; they must be lived. No document can substitute for the attitudes, decisions and actions that make up the fabric of our life and work.
Advocacy, Peacebuilding and Dialogue
World Vision works to empower communities to know and to speak up for their rights, and to equip children to actively participate in decisions that affect them. We work with communities to promote child rights and protect children from violence.
Trafficking in Persons
Through the creation of an Anti-Trafficking Action Coalition, World Vision is building on well established community and government relationships to further strengthen frameworks and mechanisms for trafficking prevention, protection, and reintegrated.
Roma Programme
World Vision Bosnia and Herzegovina is working with programming, advocacy and local Roma leaders to fight discrimination at every level against the Roma.
Corporate Club
The Corporate Club is an affordable corporate membership program supported by the leading companies in the country. Corporate Club is developed to create a network of companies that wish to help build a better future for the children of BiH.
Education
Through Education Project in B&H, World Vision supports the transition process of education system, assisting members of education system (students, teachers/pedagogues) in advancement of their knowledge, skills and practice.
Civil Society
The objective of the Civil Society Development project is to support communities to take responsibility and engage in their own development, by developing existing organisational and technical capacities, supporting them in development of Strategic Plans.
